It appears that the Telstra Business Women’s Award Team now acknowledges that the Jean Madden Street Swag is not patented (as first claimed). The fact that Jean Madden has won an award for Innovation - despite not having a patent and being acknowledged for that not existing patent, serves to undermine the awards.

July 14th 2014 - Telstra Business Women’s Awards were informed of the Jean Madden Street Swag patent misrepresentation; including being sent official letters from IP Australia and a live link to read in real-time the continued false patent misrepresentation on the official Jean Madden Street Swag website.
 
July 25th 2014 - The Telstra Business Women’s Awards team take out the the word "patented" in the Jean Madden Street Swag winner description for innovation.
 
Winner extract NOW reads “Her swag ...”  the word “patented” is missing.
The Jean Madden Street Swag is acknowledged in a prestigious Nokia Business Innovation Award despite the patent NOT existing. How can it be innovative?
